When I say ‘the rest of your life’, I could mean however many years you have left. Or, I could be referring to the most relaxing few hours of peace and tranquillity, the perfect temperature, surroundings, and nourishment possible. Whichever you thought when you read the title probably describes your current state of mind.
Christmas Presence
The opportunity for me to play on the word Presence couldn’t be missed and instantly reminded me of a quote often used by my friend and masterful coach, Laura Haines:
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery
Today is a gift
That’s why we called it the present”
Time and Space
Time seems such a precious commodity. Many expressions are said each day about it. Finding time, save time, not enough time, it’s time for… One might even say we have become obsessed by it. I have caught myself inadvertently using time as a pressure device to get things done (leaving things till the last minute), then changing my physical state because of the lack of it.

Pause Newsletter Bonus – 4. Every moment has become a blackberry moment

Pause – Only You Can Press That Button
Last week I described ‘Celeritas’, using the burst of speed to charge through a build-up of decisions and tasks. To prove we live in ambiguous times and that my job is to bring balance to situations, this week it is the opposite…Pause.
Complete – Boost your energy through focusing on life’s loose ends
I have learnt repeatedly, which means I am either a slow or reluctant learner of this particular lesson, that I am mentally working on or processing everything that remains outstanding in my work and personal life. The more there is, the more energy it is taking up and often the less powerful, resourceful and effectively drained I feel.
