I recently worked with a team of talented, motivated and busy managers who, as part of their team meetings took a ‘temperature check’ asking each member to rate how they felt, out of 5 at the moment.
Downwind!
One parallel that struck me clearly last week was the challenge of working with the direction of the wind and how it affects your route to the destination.
Boost Personal Productivity
A number of my coaching clients are in the middle of significant increased amounts of ‘to do lists’. The projects in which they are involved are increasing and resource stays the same.
Become Frustration Free
You’re busy, there is a lot happening, communication is fast and from multiple sources. The choices you face everyday about where to put your focus and what gets done seem to multiply. Have You Got It? Urgentia – Addiction to Urgent
The Urgent vs Important matrix is a trusty and well-used maxim of almost every time-management lesson or programme. I’m sure you know it and can recite the points it seeks to make. It is simply obvious, isn’t it?
